Brokerage Services

Within the scope of brokerage activity the Bank trades securities on behalf of the Bank and at the customer’s expense or on behalf of the customer and at the customer’s expense based on the customer’s orders as well as realizes other operations and activities related to the implementation of brokerage activity.


Acting as a broker, the Bank provides the following services to its customers:
  • acceptance, forward and/or execution of buy/sell orders of securities (including derivatives), conclusion of deals with securities(including repurchase agreements) on behalf and at the expense of the customer,
  • borrowing and lending securities, as well as buying securities for its customers at the Bank’s expense (marginal transactions),
  • provision of advisory services concerning to investments in securities to its customers.

Custody services

Any activity associated with safekeeping and custody of securities as well as with registration and transfer of the rights on securities is considered as Custodial activity. Within the scope of Custodial activity the Bank provides to its customers the following services:
  • registration of the rights and obligations arising from the customer’s holding of securities,
  • acting as a nominee holder of the customer’s securities,
  • opening and maintaining of a segregated custody account for the customer,
  • delivering the complete information concerning his/her securities to the customer received from the issuer, The Central Depositary and other custodians,
  • other services permitted by the legislation and related to the Custodial activity.

Securities issuance and placement services

Under its function of providing investment services the Bank assists local large companies to raise financial resources through organization of issuance and placement of securities. Financial companies are also offered to cooperate in guaranteed placement of securities by forming a syndicate.
Securities issuance and allocation services include:

  • assistance in developing the business plan for an investment project and its evaluation,
  • definition of the main conditions related to the issuance of securities,
  • preparation of the resolution and prospectus on securities issuance as well as provision of appropriate representation in the stater egistration process of the prospectus,
  • performance of activities toward identification of potential investors (organization of individual meetings, road shows),
  • organization of securities allocation and preparation of a report to the state authorized bodies,
  • provision of guarantees to the customers on obligations arising from ownership of the securities,
  • other services related to the issuance, allocation, circulation and maturity of the securities
