OWNER OF ARMSWISSBANK CJSC WILL BECOME ARMENIA’S CONSUL GENERAL IN MARCEL

Swiss-Armenian businessman, sole shareholder of "ARMSWISSBANK" CJSC, co-founder and CEO of the "Franck Muller Watchland" watchmaker company Mr. Vartan Sirmakes will become Armenia's Consul General in Marcel.
On 1 Dec, 2011 the RA Government approved the RA President's draft scheme/order on establishing a consulate in Marcel.
The Government mentioned that, "In the context of the close amiable relationship and cooperation between Armenia and France the establishment of Consulate General will increase the efficiency of consular services in France, ensure the presence of Armenia in the country's South-Eastern regions which will in turn foster the development of bilateral relationships, particularly trade and economic relations as well as tourism". The following areas will be included in the consular district of the Consulate General: Provance-Alpes-Cote D'Azur, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrénées and Corsica.
